This session will focus on some of the advanced issues that planners should be aware of when reviewing LTCi contracts, and will provide guidance on philosophical and structural approaches to determining the right policy design for individual client needs.

Peggy Fortson, CTCP, CLTC, has been a licensed insurance agent and a student of long-term care insurance for over fourteen years. Prior to beginning her financial services career with The New York Life, she was a Medical Technologist for 19 years.

Currently, Ms. Fortson is the Long Term Care Sales Executive for CRUMP Life Insurance Services, formerly BISYS Insurance Services. She is a specialist in the education, assessment, design, and implementation of long term care insurance plans.

Ms. Fortson earned her Long Term Care Professional (LTCP) designation from the Health Insurance Association of America in 2002, her CLTC designation (Certification in Long Term Care) in 2004. She is a member of the AALTCI (American Association of Long Term Care Insurance), the Atlanta Chapter of the NAHU (National Association of Health Underwriters), the Atlanta Chapter of WIFS (Women in Insurance and Financial Services) and a member of the Atlanta Chapter of National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (AAIFA). Peggy resides in Baldwin, Georgia.
